STRINGS THE THING PROGRAM - JULY 10 TO 14, 2017

STRINGS THE THING
9 am to 3 pm
For intermediate to advanced string players, ages 12 to adult at a minimum level of:
VIOLIN/VIOLA: Grade 5 RCM/Book 4 Suzuki
CELLO: Grade 4 RCM/Book 3 Suzuki
DOUBLE BASS: beginners welcome

Highlights:
Chamber Music
Each student will participate in two chamber music groups. Ensembles will be formed according to age and ability.
Registration includes a private lesson with one of the instructors.

STRINGS THE THING ~ JUNIOR
Music and activities from 9 am to 3 pm
for junior string players, ages 7 - 11
VIOLIN/VIOLA: Min level of Student Book 1
Suzuki/RPM - Book 1
CELLO: Min level of Student Book 1

Chamber Music & Orchestra
Fiddling
Creative Interludes

Included for all registrants:
BBQ/Fiddling Jamboree ~ Monday evening (family can attend for a small additional fee)
Faculty Recital ~ Wednesday evening in Penticton, Thursday evening in Kelowna
Celebration Concert ~ Fri Afternoon – everyone participates in this exciting concert to wrap up Strings the Thing 2017!

Make New Friends, Learn Exciting Repertoire, Study with Outstanding Teachers, Perform a Final Concert
