Endrené Shepherd

Endrené Shepherd is a Penticton Area native with deep roots in the Okanagan Valley. She has been making art since could grasp a crayon. Endrené Shepherd (b. 1979), was raised in Kaleden and left the area upon graduating from Penticton Senior Secondary. In 2004 she graduated from UBC Okanagan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and went onto to work, play, explore, and adventure around BC and in Japan. She returned to Penticton in 2009, and has been enjoying the supportive creative community of her home-town; she has participated three times in the Re-Imagine Street Art Festival, and painted numerous murals around the community - most recently transforming Penticton's Gyro Park Bandshell. She is active with Raise-A-Reader as a guest author-illustrator, and is a member of the Penticton Arts Council.

Endrené Shepherd believes in magic.
She believes that art has the transformative power we all need to help us reach for the lives we really want. Art can inspire us and help us to dream better dreams. Art is everywhere. It SHOULD be everywhere. Is it in your house? In your office? You NEED art, and it needs you.
