Penticton Potters' Guild Pot-Pourri 2019

Potter’s Guild

The PDCAC and Penticton Potters’ Guild Presents:  Pot-Pourri

Featured artists include Tucker Cameron, Laura Kohut, Bobi McMillan, Janet Ross, Eric Bayrd, Sanaz Busnick, Toni Cattani, Sharon Cromer, Linda Grant, Jane Merritt, Lori Gillard, and more.

The organization of the present Penticton Potters’ Guild began in 1971 with 29 enthusiastic members. They have worked out of locations at Pen High and Martin Street, eventually settling in the downstairs of the Leir House Cultural Centre in 1980. Applicants to the guild must have attained a certain level in their craft to be included and membership includes the use of wheels, kilns, tools, and glazes. Several times per year the guild has exciting outdoor firings for Raku pottery.

At the exhibition you will find a lovely collection of clay creations to enhance your living space including sculpture, functional ware, and garden items. Every piece is unique and created with love by a local artist.

The Pot-Pourri exhibition and sales runs until September 7th at the Leir House Cultural Centre (220 Manor Park Avenue, Penticton).

You can find more information about the guild on their Facebook page:
